Our new smaller Headlight "single/dual" Delay relay

 

Very easy install.  2 wires in, 2 wires out.  Put this inline with whatever you are wanting to delay.  Single headlight, double headlight.  Single HID, Double HID.  One unit can delay 2 HID's.

 

22 ga wire.  Smaller of the wires goes to the "BIKE"

 

18 ga wire.  Bigger wires go to the "HID/Headlight bulb"

 

IF you are unaware of which is positive and negative on the bike, the delay is protected against reverse polarity on the input side.

So you can connect it and turn on your key and listen for the relay to click.  If you don't hear the relay turn the key off and switch the red and black 22ga wires to get the right polarity.  "MAKE SURE THE RED/BLACK wires on the 18 gauge are not touching each other or you will blow a fuse.

 

Once the relay clicks, turn off the key and connect the HID positive and negative and set your time delay.

Multiple time delays to choose from using the dip switches.

0-38 sec delay.

 

  • SW1: 2X Multiplier (if off, 1x, if on 2x)
  • SW2: 3s delay (0 delay if off)
  • SW3: 5s delay (0 delay if off)
  • SW4: 11s delay (0 delay if off)


Delay is calculated as SW1 * (SW2 + SW3 + SW4)
